 This personally curated trip will take you from the capital city of Buenos Aires, where you will experience Argentine culture and high gastronomy, to the vineyards of Mendoza, to be immersed in a curated selection of wineries, estancias and restaurants.

 Guiding you on your journey will be Argentine Wine Expert Francine Kowalsky, founder of WineDistilled Tours and her partner, Mendoza Native, Gustavo Arroyat. Francine and Gustavo have led trips together and have a unique perspective, extensive contacts and an overall love for all things Argentine!

Day 1

Departure from Your City!

Day 2

 Your Journey Begins with your arrival in the capital city of Buenos Aires


Private Transfer takes you to your 5 star luxury hotel such as the  Park Hyatt or Four Seasons


After you have a chance to check in, we will go to lunch at one of Buenos Aires top Steak Houses such as Cabana las Lilas or Don Julio, where you will experience first-hand Argentina’s amazing grass-fed beef. 

After lunch have some free time to explore the city, shop or just have a relaxing coffee and people watch like a Porteño.

Our culinary will take us to dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants in the city like one of Latin America’s 50 Best such as Chila or Tegui

Day 3
Recoleta & Tango

We will start the morning with our private guide as we take a drive around the city to see the sights. Our trip will end with a private tour of the Recoleta Cemetery. Our guide will take us around the cemetery to hear the history, see the stunning mausoleums and see where Evita Peron is buried.

After the tour, just a short walk away we will have a sumptuous brunch at the historic Alvear Palace.

After brunch spend your afternoon exploring the city on your own, shopping, museums, cafes, or the market in front of the Recoleta Cemetery.

In the evening we will be taken by van to a dinner and tango show to experience the music and dance most associated with Argentina.




 Off to wine country!  Beautiful vineyards of Mendoza with the snowcapped Andes will great you as we arrive in the capital of wine country.

Upon arrival our driver will greet us and we will be whisked off to our luxury hotel in the heart of Mendoza City. 

Check in and together  we walk to lunch at Azafran, known for their extensive wine collection.

Enjoy a free afternoon to stroll the city or have a siesta or just relax by the pool. 

Dinner will be at the famed 1884 by Francis Mallmann, Argentina’s grill master.


We will begin our day with a tour, tasting  at one of Argentina’s most historic wineries, Luigi Bosca, located in Lujan de Cuyo.

After the tour and tasting we will transfer a short distance to Luigi Bosca’s vineyard El Paraiso or Finca los Nobles  where we will enjoy a traditional Argentine asado in the middle of the vineyards.

After lunch we will transfer back to the hotel where you can take a siesta by the pool.

In the evening we will visit our next winery, Trapiche where we will have a tour and tasting followed by a dinner in their own restaurant


Today we will journey up to the Uco Valley where we will be almost 5,000 feet high at the base of Mt. Tupungato, the one of the highest mountains in the Americas.

Our destination will be an Estancia where we will go horseback riding, enjoy a leisurely asado and picada

After our day, we will check into a hotel in Uco and spend the night.

At sunset, we will drive over to visit Clos de Los Siete by the famed winemaker Michel Rolland.  A tour and tasting will be followed by dinner at their restaurant in Bodegas Monteviejo


Today will transfer back to Mendoza City, but first we will stop off and visit with Patricia Ortiz, owner of Bodegas Tapiz and Zolo and the first female President of Bodegas Argentinas. We will have a tour and tasting at her Tapiz winery in San Pablo followed by an empanada making class in the vineyards.  We will learn how to make traditional Argentine empanadas in a mud oven called a horno.

Once back in the city, we will stay again at the Park Hyatt.  Walk the city, take a siesta, sit by the pool before we have our next winery visit with Karim Mussi, owner of Altocedro winery.

Karim and his sister Leyla will be our hosts at Altocedro where not only will their amazing wines be on display but so will their Lebanese ancestry.  Following a tour of the winery by Karim, we will have a fabulous dinner of Lebanese foods, cooked by Leyla from recipes handed down by their grandmother and mother – all paired with Karim’s extraordinary wines.

DAY 8 

Our last day. Have a relaxing morning by the pool, or a nice walk in the city. 

Mid- morning, our van will take us with our bags to our last visit of the trip.


We will finish our trip with a lovely visit to Patricia Ortiz’s winery Bodega Zolo. Step back in time, take a carriage ride around the property and then we will have tour, tasting and learn how to blend wine.

Our farewell lunch will take us to Patricia’s  restaurant Club Tapestry located in her hotel Club Tapiz. We will enjoy food made with organic produce grown on the property as well as cuisine made with locally sourced products.  Of course there will be wine to accompany our lunch – all from Bodega Zolo, Tapiz and Wapisa.

Finally we will all go together by van to the airport in Mendoza.
